Subject: Mammoths in England.

Hi Bill,
My name is Denise Hewett, we bought 2 jennets that were ship over to England by you a few year ago, Oklahoma Pegasus and Oklahoma Fresh Start.

We have bred three of foals from them; I thought you might like to see a photo of the donkey that we have kept as our Stallion he is called “Highpoint Cracker”. His Sire was Oklahoma Louis and his Dam was Oklahoma Fresh Start.
He has the most wonderful temperament you could wish for, he was born on 18th September 2011. He was just 3 years old in the attached photo.
“Highpoint Cracker” has also Sired our first mule “Highpoint Ruby”, who is causing quite a stir in the British Mule world. Most British mules are about 12.2hh – 13.2hh and don’t have good conformation, but the” Garrett Oklahoma” blood line has come through and she is very special. I have attached a photo of her winning at her first show. She is now 14 months old.

There are very few Mammoths in England as you know, so every time we show our white yearling, who is also out of “Oklahoma Fresh Start” he gets a great deal of attention, and we get lots of offers to buy him. He has been gelded though, as I want to ride and drive him in the future.

I hope you don’t mind me emailing you, but I thought you might be interested to see what has happened to two of your stock.

Very best wishes

Denise Hewett
